Project Muskan

The French students had gone to Government Girls School in Kanhai village. It was indeed an enriching experience for them, as they were extremely elated to see little girls studying to fulfill their hopes, dreams and aspirations.

The students were divided into groups of 5 and sat with the French girls to make Rangolis. The French students were astonished to see the talent of the young girls. After rangoli making, the French students gave them small gifts such as notebooks and stationery items !!

The French students got very emotional and were happy that their gifts brought smiles on the young girls’ faces. The fact that they could bring happiness in a child’s life made their trip to India meaningful. They clicked a lot of pictures ! The French students were able to see the Young India that is moving towards development and growth. When it was time to leave, all of them had tears in their eyes… It was a day in their life that they will remember and cherish forever!

If I had to speak about a moment which particularly touched my heart, it was when we went to the Government Girls School in Kanhai village. They looked so happy with so few things… that gave us a good lesson of life. We were able to give them pens and coloured pencils and they were really delighted, I adored being able to share this enjoyment with them. It was really an experience which I shall never forget!
